The criteria — every video must pass all 5
- ✅ Explicitly teaches a named concept — no highlight reels, teasers, or entertainment masquerading as education
- ✅ Substantive length — long enough to complete a full idea (no 30-second clips)
- ✅ Verified educational channel — channels with documented pedagogy or curriculum alignment (BBC, SciShow Kids, Numberblocks, Alphablocks, Jack Hartmann, Crash Course Kids, and similar)
- ✅ Zero politics or ideology — even science-adjacent contested topics are excluded
- ✅ Age-appropriate for 3–10 — nothing that requires adult context to understand
