Picked is a teacher-curated video streaming service for children. We take privacy seriously — especially when it comes to families. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Email address — provided when you subscribe, used to send your Family Code and service updates.
- Family Code — a randomly generated code we create for your household to access the service.
- Subscription status — whether your subscription is active or cancelled, used to control access.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details.
What we don't collect
- No names, addresses, or phone numbers
- No data about your children
- No viewing history or watch behaviour
- No cookies beyond what's needed for access
- No third-party advertising trackers
How we use your information
- To send your Family Code after payment
- To verify your access when you enter your code
- To deactivate access if your subscription is cancelled
- To contact you about important service updates

Data retention
We retain your email and subscription status for as long as you are a subscriber. If you cancel, we retain minimal records for billing history purposes only.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@picked.tv. We'll respond within 48 hours.
